About the Role

The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of landscape design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a strong willingness to learn new landscape design and drafting tools 

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Draftsman to join our Landscape Design team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate landscape drawings, layouts, and technical drawings based on design concepts and project requirements.

Location - Jagtap Nursery's Garden Center, Behind Seasons Mall, Magarpatta, Hadapsar, Pune.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed landscape drawings, layouts, and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
  • Develop landscape plans based on design concepts, site measurements, and project requirements.Qualify the customer needs
  • Prepare planting plans, hardscape layouts, softscape layouts, irrigation layouts, and other landscape drawings.
  • Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate and detailed technical drawings.
  • Incorporate revisions and modifications based on project requirements and client feedback.
  • Ensure drawings follow required dimensions, scales, levels, specifications, and drawing standards.
  • Assist in preparing drawings required for landscape execution and site implementation.
  • Understand basic landscape elements such as plants, paving, pathways, lawns, decks, pergolas, water features, irrigation, lighting, and other garden elements.
  • Review site measurements and existing conditions before preparing drawings.
  • Maintain proper documentation and organized drawing files for different projects.
  • Coordinate with the execution team to resolve drawing-related queries during project implementation.

Must Have

  • Diploma/Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Landscape Design/Drafting will be preferred.
  • Passionate about Landscape Design and Garden Design.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD with the ability to prepare detailed 2D drawings
  • Knowledge of softscape and hardscape design.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, civil, and landscape drawings.
  • Ability to interpret site measurements and convert them into accurate drawings.

  • Able to understand both design and technical aspects of landscape projects.
  • Creative with good visualisation skills.
  • Adaptable and willing to learn new landscape design tools and software.
  • Interested in developing a long-term career in Landscape Design.
